Here's my story

A little about me

Hi, I’m Christian Schick. I’m a creative and results-driven content designer looking to use my methodical approach to consistently shape product experiences. I’ve been designing content for over 7 years.

Here's what my 7-year career looks like

What I do and how I do it

Customer Profile Workshop

Define

Before writing anything, I work with clients and partners to define the project in measurable objectives. Using repeatable workshops, I ask strategic questions to uncover the optimal intersections between business and customer objectives. You walk out of this stage with a firmly stated (but flexible) strategy.

Deliverables

  • Discovery workshops
  • Objectives refinement
  • Strategy statements

Write

During my writing process, I methodically build on the principles established in the strategy stage. When there’s a fork in the road, I present the tradeoffs of either path. In addition to the reasoning behind my choice, you walk away with drafted content.

Deliverables

  • Copywriting
  • UX writing
  • Editing (AP Style)

Website Copywriting

Written by client, coached by me

Support

I continue to support my work after it’s completed and help others to use my principles in their projects. I center the conversation around the reasoning behind design choices. This breaks down defensiveness by focusing instead on what we can acheive together. You walk away with actionable feedback.

Deliverables

  • Office hours and reviews
  • Education presentations
  • Collaboration sessions

Measure

After all writing work is complete, I create opportunities to measure success. This uncovers insights into what worked and what could be improved. You walk away with quantifiable proof that the work was worth the effort and certainty about where to go next.

Deliverables

  • Data analytics
  • Research synthesis
  • Process refinement
